Stay with The Bear of Istanbul

Experience the world renowned Turkish hospitality first hand in a bear's house as his visitor on this most magical of the cities.

I live in the non-touristy part of central Istanbul, where the real Turks live. I have a large apartment and I rent two of the bedrooms for fellow bears who are travelling to Istanbul.

Do I need to tell you that something more than a 5-star service is awaiting you? My breakfast is nothing like you have ever experienced before. All fresh ingredients prepared to perfection. For a very modest amount I can also cook you a sumptuous dinner and you can taste what real Turkish food is all about. The downside is you won't want to go to the local Turkish restaurant back home ever again.

Nothing is too much trouble!
You are the guest of honour and during your stay simply nothing is too much trouble! I offer more than just B&B, a place of calm and relaxation, an escape from the hustle and bustle of the exhilarating city yet only a stone’s throw away from the city centre and the gay scene. In fact Istanbul's most famous bear club is only a short walk away.

I have two rooms to let, which share a bathroom. There is a living room that you are free to use and it is where you will find me most of the time. I will be happy to answer your questions and be a guide to you in town, day and night. I do not charge for my time other than my direct expenses.

There is a PC with an always on broadband connection for you to use in case you just need to "logon".
